Casino Royale is located in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip and famously doesn't charge a resort fee. The Best Western hotel product was fine, albeit unexciting... However, that changed when I found water coming through my bathroom ceiling. Aside from the room, Casino Royale has an awesome "old school" casino, cheap drinks, a chill pool, and plenty of charm. Even without a nightly resort fee, it isn't among the cheapest hotels on the Strip, and my first stay is likely to be my last.
