These inserts have positive radial rake angles, resulting in low power consumption, smooth cutting, and excellent straightness of slot profiles. When clamped in the cutter, the inserts produce staggered teeth with alternating axial rakes, compensating for axial forces and providing stable cutting even under high loads and unfavorable machining conditions. The new HELISLOT tools combine secure insert mounting, progressive cutting geometry, and advantageous carbide grades to improve slot milling operations. The cutters are suitable for machining materials mainly from the ISO P (steel, ferritic, and martensitic stainless steel) and ISO K (cast iron) groups. Look for the bypass on the right. Current conditions have some water in the slot. ‼️ Never enter a slot if there is a chance of storms ( there is a flash flood predictor in a link in my b10.
