I got new connector from China, it's this one: https://www.winning.com.tw/en/product/759ac9cf3c46c79d52a0fd396bb78c72 I learned that through-holes are difficult to clear of old solder, and the PCB can be easily damaged when using traditional methods, like a soldering iron and solder wick, even when using low temp solder. Once I switched to a new approach—using hot air to melt the solder and a desoldering pump to remove it—the process became much easier. Had I known about this method earlier, the process would have been cleaner, and trace repairs would have been unnecessary. Eventually, I would like to set up a top-down camera for myself to show the soldering in a video. However, my research on what to buy for it hasn't been progressing so far.
